AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM 2007-2008

PROGRAM POLICIES AND FEES

            St. Mary's School offers an After School Program which extends the school day for children after school and ensures that the child is cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. The program provides supervised time for age-appropriate play (indoors and out), homework, reading, creative activities, and games for students. The program is for your convenience as well as your child’s safety. It is staffed by a Director and a program assistant who work under the direction of the Principal of the school. It serves only children regularly enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade at St. Mary's School.

            Registration prior to attendance is required for all students attending the After School Program. Enrollment and emergency contact forms are enclosed, and must be returned to the School Office along with registration fee of $20.00 per family prior to attendance.  Parents are encouraged to register their children for the Program in the event it might be needed because of a last minute change of plans or in the case of an emergency. No student will be permitted to attend the After School Program unless he/she is formally registered for the program.

           The program will run from 2:45 - 5:45 daily when school is open and will operate from 11:45 - 5:45 on half days. The program will not be open on snow days, weather-related dismissal days, or on 1/2 days which start off vacations.

           Students attending the program should bring their own healthy snack and a juice box or bottled water.
